These days Rome is stormed by holiday goers, on romantic weekend shopping trips (how ever those two things can be combined). But for the northern people, trying to escape from the cold of winter, it might not be the best days to arrive to Rome, because it rains cats and dogs (as the English saying goes). It is so bad that we practically woke up to a Rome that looked like Venezia, with rivers as streets.

Honestly I think it finally feels a bit like autumn has finally arrived, now we only need a bit of subzero temperature and a bit of snow so Christmas can finally arrive.
