Denmark is giving a cold farwel
The moving proceeded as planned and the keys are handed over to the new tenant who is now living in it. Its a pretty strange feeling to turn over a fully furnished apartment, its a bit like having people visiting for the weekend, except that its a really long weekend and we are not at home...
As a nice angry disappointed goodbye, Denmark is providing the first week of winter, which is perfect, since all my really hot clothes is trapped in a box somewhere in Europe - not able to come to my rescue. Luckily I have chosen to spend my last few days in Denmark in the warmth of my family. My sister have promised to make Frikadeller (meatballs with parsley sauce (traditional danish dish)). And yesterday we had herrings in curry with homemade brown bread (rugbrød) and a Aalborg snaps (Thanks Anni!), it was perfect!
Yesterday Sara succeeded in carrying all our orchids to Italy, while our beloved Olive tree must stay here behind in the (hopefully) capable hands of my parents.
happy blog readering
